The Knowsley Feelgood Festival and Flower Show return to Court Hey Park this weekend (1 & 2 August) bringing a jam-packed programme of activities for families to enjoy at these two free events.
Over both days, visitors will be able to enjoy tastes from around the globe at our Food Makers Market serving everything from traditional fish and chips to decadent Spanish churros, and from hog roast to siu mai! There are a range of trade stalls from vendors selling plants, ornaments, beauty products, sweet treats and more.
The funfair is back and bigger than ever, this year it’s located on the Gladstone Field with a range of attractions for everyone to enjoy. And Activity For All CIC return with their popular inflatable assault course. All money raised goes to support Activity For All’s mission to increase participation in physical activity for all ages
Families can also enjoy a range of fun free activities including facepainting, circus skills crafts with Kirkby Gallery and the return of the much-loved bubble fairy!
New for 2026, is Bertie Bird’s Adventures in the Forget-me-not Garden. Puppetry, crafts and storytelling based on the children’s book written by Becci Cleator:
Bertie bird is an avid, aviation adventurer. Sent on missions by Ma’am, Bertie and his squadron explore the city of Liverpool and report back to base, telling Ma’am of the sights and sounds they’ve explored.

Saturday 1 August (Feelgood Festival)
12.00pm – 12.25pm – Swanside Line Dancing Ladies
A lively line dancing group from Swanside Community Centre, which supports local people of all ages through clubs and activities.
12.30pm – 12.45pm – Liverpool Ukulele Orchestra
One of the North West’s longest-established ukulele groups, performing regularly across the region.
2.50pm – 1.10pm – Howard Dutton Tai Chi
A Tai Chi and Chi Gong demonstration showcasing gentle movements that promote wellbeing. Suitable for beginners and designed to encourage everyone to get involved.
1.15pm – 1.30pm – Kirkby Happy Hours
A friendly community group bringing people together through fitness, social activities and wellbeing sessions.
1.35pm – 1.50pm – The Athletic Kingdom Martial Arts
Demonstrating Ashihara Karate, a modern full-contact martial art using the Sabaki movement system.
2.10pm – 2.35pm – Bit of Everything Theatre Group
A creative arts group for teenagers and young adults with learning disabilities.
They explore music, drama and visual arts, and will perform songs using Makaton.
2.40pm – 3.00pm – Zumba with Jenny
Join one of Liverpool and Knowsley’s longest-serving Zumba instructors for a fun fitness session. Suitable for all ages, abilities and fitness levels.
3.05pm – 3.25pm – Studio 22
A fun and friendly hip-hop dance school based in Tarbock Village Hall.
3.30pm – 4.00pm – Liverpool Ukulele Orchestra
A return performance from the popular ukulele group. Expect well-loved songs and plenty of audience enjoyment.
4.00pm – 4.40pm – Hula Hoop Competition
Take part in a fun hula hoop challenge for the chance to win fantastic prizes.
Sunday 2 August (Knowsley Flower Show)
11.00 – 11.15 – Opening of the Show by the Mayor of Knowsley
11.15 – 12.15 – Music and Compere
12.15 – 1.10pm – West Lancs Dogs Display
The West Lancs Dog Display Team was established in 1992 and is made up of children and adults who share a passion for dog training. The team performs across the country, showcasing agility, obedience and fun canine displays, including their famous goalkeeping dog.
1.15 – 1.30pm – Pantomime Cast from Robin Hood
Members of the cast will give audiences a preview of the upcoming pantomime production, featuring songs, characters and family entertainment.
1.30 – 2.00pm – Zumba with Jenny
A fun, energetic fitness session combining dance and exercise to Latin and international music, suitable for all ages and abilities.
2.00 – 2.30pm – Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts
Kuk Sool Won is a traditional Korean martial art that combines striking, kicking, joint-locking, throws, weapons training and self-defence techniques.
2.45 – 3.15pm – West Lancs Dog Display
The team returns for an interactive display where children can take part in a relay race against the dogs on a simplified agility course. All winners will receive a sweet treat.

3.30 – 4.15pm – Movema Dance Performance
Movema is an award-winning dance charity founded in Liverpool in 2009. The organisation celebrates cultural diversity through dance, bringing together communities through performances inspired by dance traditions from around the world.
4.30 – 5.00pm – Floral Marquee Awards Presentation and Raffle Draw
Presentation of awards for the Floral Marquee competitions, followed by the grand raffle draw.
And on Sunday only in the Forget Me Not Garden Cecil Green Arts presents ‘Composity’, a puppet show set in a compost heap. This fun and inspiring piece of theatre features handmade puppets and explores environmental themes and how human action has a negative effect on our world.

The Knowsley Feelgood Festival takes place on Saturday 1 August and the Knowsley Flower Show takes place on Sunday 2 August at Court Hey Park, Roby Road, Huyton, L16 3NA between 11am and 5pm.
Parking for the events is at King George V Playing Fields, Longview Lane, Huyton L36 7UN. Parking costs £4 for the Feelgood Festival and £6 for the Flower Show. Shuttle buses are running from the parking site from 10.30am – 5.30pm
Dogs on leads are welcome at the event. No eBikes or eScooters will be allowed on site for the safety of all visitors.
