The final event of Knowsley Literature Fest 2026 will see the return of popular local crime writer Luca Veste, who will appear at Huyton Library on Thursday 15 October from 7pm to 8.30pm.
Luca, an Italian-Scouse author whose gripping crime novels are often set in Liverpool and the surrounding areas, was one of the first authors to visit Knowsley Libraries in the 2020s. Now, he returns to help bring the borough’s first-ever Literature Festival to a close.
Having written more than a dozen bestselling thrillers, Luca has built a loyal following thanks to his fast-paced stories, memorable characters and strong links to the Liverpool city region. Visitors can look forward to an entertaining evening featuring discussion, insights into his writing process, and the chance to meet the author.
The event marks the grand finale of a hugely successful inaugural Knowsley Literature Fest, which has welcomed authors, readers and literary enthusiasts from across the borough throughout the year.
