Local vendors and stall holders are invited to get in touch if they’d like to hold a stall at this year’s Knowsley Flower Show and Feelgood Festival.
Last year’s event, during Knowsley’s year as Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture, was a runaway hit and attracted more than 25,000 visitors and local businesses are invited to get involved and benefit from this annual favourite in the borough’s calendar.
This year’s Knowsley Flower Show is an extra special one and will be celebrating its 25th year on Sunday 6 August. The flower show will, once again, be preceded by the Feelgood Festival, on Saturday 5 August, a family friendly celebration of health, happiness and wellbeing.
Over two days, the festivals offer something for everyone, including live music performances, and countless family activities – not to mention the Flower Show’s magnificent floral displays. But the key to any successful event is the array of food, drink and craft stalls and that’s where local vendors and business come in!
Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods and Communities said: “The Knowsley Flower Show and Feelgood Festival are long-established events and attract huge audiences year-on-year. We want to offer those visitors a wonderful day out with a great selection of food and drink, crafts and activities, so we would love to hear from any vendors who think they could bring something special to these events.”
There are also a number of opportunities for local businesses to sponsor and to advertise at the event. If you are interested in taking a stall or finding out about promotional opportunities, please contact Carla Simkin by email at carla.simkin@knowsley.gov.uk.
