The streets of Knowsley were alive with light and sound last week as the internationally acclaimed Spark! Illuminated Drummers completed their four-night tour across the borough.
From Thursday 11 December through to Sunday 14 December, the LED percussionists brought their high-energy, rhythmic spectacle to Huyton Village, Kirkby Town Centre, Halewood Leisure Centre and Prescot Town Centre to round up Knowsley’s festive celebrations.
The return of Spark! proved to be a resounding success, drawing huge crowds keen to experience the unique blend of dynamic drumming and kaleidoscopic light design.
Building on the success of their previous appearances in Knowsley, this latest tour cemented Spark!’s reputation for delivering truly spectacular public theatre.
Cllr Tony Brennan, Knowsley’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development said:
“We were thrilled to welcome Spark! back to our town centres for their festive tour. Seeing so many families and friends gathered, smiling and enthralled by the performance was fantastic. The drummers truly delivered an explosive and joyful show that perfectly captured the festive spirit across Knowsley.”
