On Friday 29 November, community growing charity Incredible Edible Knowsley will launch their newest venture at their Court Hey Park site.
Incredible Holistics is a traditional apothecary selling herbs, essential oils, teas and other natural ingredients and supplies for medicinal, spiritual and holistic use.
The special launch event will include free 15-minute consultations with a health and wellbeing consultant and Medical Herbalist & Nutritional Therapist as well as a special free gift for anyone making a purchase from the apothecary on the day.
All profits made from the apothecary will go back into Incredible Edible Knowsley to sustain the project and fund activities and events for the local community.
Karen Mower, Chief Executive of Incredible Edibles said: “We are really excited to be opening our apothecary and holistic shop to the community this Friday. It looks amazing and will be a place to bring people together. This project opens people up to learning more about their health and wellbeing and future workshops will be held in here soon.”
Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods said: “For several years now, Incredible Edible have made such a difference to the community through volunteering opportunities, classes, workshops and, of course, their community food hub which allows people to access fresh healthy ingredients grown on-site.
“This innovative new initiative, which focusses on holistic health and wellbeing will be an asset to the local community and bring in much needed funding for Incredible Edible Knowsley to continue their valuable projects.”
The Incredible Holistics Apothecary opens at 10am on Friday 29 November at Incredible Edible Knowsley, Court Hey Park Roby Rd, Huyton, L16 3NA
