Looking for some Christmas gift inspiration? Kirkby Gallery is currently hosting ‘Crafted’ a biennial exhibition of contemporary craft, design and fine art, with the majority of the works in the show available to buy!
The exhibition features, textiles, fashion, ceramics, illustration, collage, painting and book art by artists and makers from Knowsley and beyond, including Becky Atherton, Kelly Broughton, Kate Bufton, Hollie Cooper, Julie Dodd, Harry Garner, Heston Isle Press, David Holmes, Sue McLaren, Ali Pickard, Catherine Rogers, Julie Taylor, Kate Tidmarsh, Hilary Marteau and the North West Book Art Group.
There are over 150 pieces of art up for grabs this year, with prices starting at as little as £3.
Hand painted Christmas baubles by Julie Dodd are £15 each and each one is unique.
Dragonfly brooches by Hilary Marteau are £5 each and her embellished denim jackets for children and adults, have been selling from £10 upwards.
Handmade and handprinted limited edition books by book artist Sue McLaren are available to buy from £15 upwards.
