From a hedgehog to a toad, a lizard to a bat, there’s a whole host of unusual animals dwelling in Prescot town centre.
And now there’s a new map to help you find all of the sculptures in the Witches’ Brew Animal trail.
Inspired by Prescot’s fascinating links with William Shakespeare, there are fourteen animal sculptures to find. They represent just some of the animals mentioned in the witches’ chant from the well-known Shakespeare play Macbeth.
The new map, illustrated by local artist, Emily Anderson, will help you locate the sculptures across streets and buildings in the town centre, and tick them off as you find them.
The map will be launched at the Prescot Elizabethan Fayre this weekend (Saturday 8 June) and anyone who finds all of the sculptures, can enter a draw on the day to win one of three prizes – a family pass for Knowsley Safari Park, £30 gift vouchers to spend in Prescot Town centre and a family ticket for the Cinderella Christmas pantomime at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park.

The steel animal sculptures were created by father and son artists Brian and George Fell, and the new map has been illustrated by local artist and Prescot resident Emily Anderson.
