The Knowsley Music Festival returns once again this autumn, with an impressive line-up of artists and performers at venues across the borough and tickets are on sale now!

On Wednesday 29 October, pop icon Paul Young takes to the stage at Shakespeare North Playhouse for a SOLD OUT gig pairing an intimate acoustic performance with stories from his life in music and an audience Q&A session.

Get ready to hit the dancefloor on Friday 14 November as Chic Le Freak take to the stage at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park. A spectacular 6-piece band paying tribute to the music of Chic and Nile Rogers, Chic Le Freak are the ultimate party band playing disco classics and pop hits galore!

And St Chad’s Church in Kirkby is set to play host to a spectacular performance from She Drew the Gun. Audiences can expect to experience a visceral musical world informed by influences ranging 80’s electronica, hip-hop, political poetry, and cosmic scouse psychedelia.

Brand new for 2025 is KMF presents The Young Ones, a youth music showcase at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park. The show will feature six up-and-coming bands from Knowsley in a special event programmed by one of Knowsley’s young producers, Sonny Price, plus an exciting headline act which will be announced at a later date.
The Knowsley Fringe Music Festival also returns this year, with opportunities for local bands, artists and venues to apply for a grant to put on a gig as part of the festival between 1- 14 November. Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for communities and neighbourhoods said: “ We are delighted to bring the Knowsley Music Festival back to the borough for its fourth year. It promises to be another fantastic festival with a vast range of performances by artists and bands across the main festival programme, the Fringe Festival and the brand-new youth showcase event.
“Over the last few years, we’ve seen that there is an incredible appetite for high quality music events in the borough and we hope that residents and visitors alike will enjoy this year’s exciting line-up.”
The Knowsley Music Festival was launched in 2022 as part of Knowsley’s year as the Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture. The festival has hosted musical greats from across the Liverpool City Region including The Lightning Seeds, China Crisis, The Real Thing, Craig Charles, The Christians, John Power, Space and Deaf School.
