The Knowsley Music Festival is back once again, taking place from 8 – 24 November with another fantastic line up of musical talent from across the Liverpool City Region and beyond!
In addition to the main music festival line up, the Knowsley Fringe Music Festival returns with shows taking place at venues throughout Knowsley.
There will be original music and much-loved covers spanning across the musical genres, from Motown, soul and R&B to Rock, pop, opera and more. There are 26 artists and groups performing at 15 venues in pubs, bars, church halls and community spaces throughout the festival.

Friday 8 November – The Tafts
8pm at The Coach House at Bowring Park, Roby Rd, L36 4HD
A multi-talented family of musicians, The Tafts will play a collection of original songs based on personal experiences of characters, relationships and real events.
Friday 8 November – Colin Gibson and Friends
7pm at Poco Coffee, 30 Eccleston Street, Prescot L34 5QJ
Colin is a swing and soul singer who has been performing professionally for 22 years. His career started when he performed on ‘Stars in their eyes’ at Nat King Cole. He will be joined by The Sammos and local guitarist Eric Fitz
Saturday 9 November – Some Other Guys

Following their sell-out show at Shakespeare North in January, they welcome back Some Other Guys to the Cockpit Theatre. Enjoy a special performance from musicians representing the Merseybeat sounds across the ages!

Blue Indigo are a high energy R&B duo consisting of saxophone, vocals and guitar. They perform a number of classic R&B tracks that appeal to all ages and that are guaranteed to get you on the dance floor!

9pm at The Railway, Glovers Brow, Kirkby, L32 2AD

Thursday 14th November – Aidan McLean, Sean Knibb, Ryan McNee & Ciaran Smith

Performances by Aidan, Sean, Ryan & Ciaran which will include well known cover songs from all decades spanning genres such as Merseybeat, Motown, British rock classics, and some notable American folk songs.
Friday 15th November – The League of Gentlemen
8pm at Holy Family Social Club, Hall Lane, Cronton, WA8 5DH
Tickets £5 on the door, redeemable against a drink of choice.
Born out of a weekly music session at Holy Family Social Club in Cronton, the League of Gentlemen are a collective of highly experienced musicians with a combined age of 390 years old. They perform much-loved hits from the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 November – Strange Fest
5pm – 11pm at Lord Strange 4 Leyland Street, Prescot L34 5QP, The Mermaid Tavern, 21 Market Pl, Prescot L34 5SB, and Spanish Caravan, 32 Eccleston St, Prescot L34 5QJ.
A two-day mini festival across three of Prescot’s iconic bars – The Lord Strange, The Mermaid Tavern and Spanish Caravan. Enjoy performances from Eleanor Nelly, The Sway, Ellie & Mason, Urban Goose, Jack Mac and Jack Joynt.
Sunday 17 November – The Fringe at Eden Bar & Garden

Eden Bar & Garden plays host to three talented up-and-coming performers for an afternoon and evening of music. You can see Ellie Keegan performing her melodic songs with an incredible voice that is not to be missed, Neil Noa with soulful melodies and storytelling, and Tony on the Strings, a hugely popular solo performer on the region’s music scene.
Wednesday 20 November – Songwriters Circle with Katy Mac

An all-female line up of acoustic and unplugged performances from local artists Katie Mac, Jessica Dives and Grace Elizabeth Harvey.
Friday 22 November Fleetwood Mac Covered
8.30pm at The Deanes House, Church St, Prescot, L34 3LA
An exciting tribute to the music and artistry of the legendary Fleetwood Mac. The duo replicates that authentic Fleetwood sound, with sensational costumes and a full light show, they really capture Fleetwood Macs heyday.

Based in Liverpool, The Bentley Operatic Society was founded in 1912 and, apart from the war years (and Covid), the society has produced a fully staged show every year since.
