United by Land
Throughout this summer, renowned land artist James Brunt created a number of striking land art installations in some of the borough’s most loved parks.
James along with several other accomplished land artists visited the Borough in August and September to work with local people and communities on a number of outdoor installations at Halewood Triangle, Stadt Moers, Mill Dam and Bowring Parks.
Additionally James worked with a number of Knowsley Primary school pupils in May and June creating land art within school grounds for the United By Land project.
James and his team also produced a large-scale public art installation at Halewood Triangle. The work entitled The Knowsley Mandala, was around the size of one and a half football pitches in length and was visible for around four weeks, after which time the natural elements wore it away.
Almost five thousand people engaged with the United By Land project from May – September.
