Grand Départ GB 2027 is coming next year, bringing the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift to Great Britain.
For Knowsley, this is a chance to be part of a major national moment – celebrating world-class cycling, local pride and community participation.
On Saturday 3 July 2027, Knowsley, Liverpool and St Helens will welcome the finish of stage two of the men’s Tour De France.
The overall route is still be revealed, but Knowsley residents will have the opportunity to watch competitors speed through the borough, before heading to Liverpool’s iconic waterfront for a super sprint finish.
Work is underway to create a last legacy and there will be numerous opportunities for residents to get involved over the coming year, including volunteering, community events and, of course, watching the race on the day.
