Join in the fun at the Easter and Spring themed trails and activities at parks across Knowsley.
Knowsley’s Green Space Rangers have teamed up with local groups and organisations to offer an exciting range of activities and events in parks and green spaces.
From guided walks and pond dipping, Easter bonnet parades to bushcraft activities, it’s time to get outdoors, explore our parks – and have some fun over the Easter period. All of the regular timetable of health events in parks will also be going ahead.
All events are free to attend but some require booking for individual sessions.

What’s on
Halewood
Easter-themed puzzle trails – from Monday 7 to Tuesday 22 April at: Court Farm Woods, Finch Woods, Goddard Green and Halewood Triangle. Maps are available on the park noticeboards and prizes can be collected from Halewood Environment Centre.
Check out our new ‘Nature Neighbours’ artworks. There are maps in Halewood Environment Centre or on the noticeboards at: Court Farm Woods, Frensham Park, Finch Woods, Goddard Green, Halewood Triangle and Hilton Grace.
Halewood Conservation Volunteers will be out in Halewood Triangle Park – Wednesday mornings from 10am – 12pm. These sessions are free to join and include litter picking, seed and bulb planting and looking after the new orchard. Sessions during Easter include: Wednesday 9 and Wednesday 16 April. Meet at Halewood Environment Centre.
Halewood’s Green Space Ranger is offering guided Spring Nature Walks – Call in to Halewood Environment Centre for details.

Easter Fun at Ten Acre Pits: Thursday 17 April, 1pm – 3pm: Join us for Easter themed arts and crafts, Easter trail, bonnet parades and more.
Spring Fun at Bowring Park: Thursday 17 April, 10am – 4pm: Join us for a day of activities including Forest School (10.30am – 12pm only from Journeys, Leaves and Seeds), golfing activities to launch ‘Unleash your Drive’, entertainment and gardening. Free Activity Pack – Trans Pennine Trail

Bursting with fun, the pack includes a Spring Scavenger Hunt and tips to take part in the Great British Spring Clean litter pick challenge. You can get creative by making Spring lamb cupcakes and create Easter Egg decorations, as well as solving an Easter Word search, picture colouring and diving into the next instalment of Mandy Mole’s exciting adventure along the Trans Pennine Trail. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate Easter and the beauty of spring!
