A brand-new project is coming to Halewood next year celebrating the local community’s connection to Halewood Forest and how the forest reflects the history of the area.
The project is part of the legacy of Knowsley’s year as Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture and is being produced with collaborative and social arts agency Heart of Glass.
This project has been made possible – thanks to National Lottery players -with support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund
A series of community workshops – lead by artist, Frances Disley – will take place in the lead up to the project, inviting local people to share their stories and memories of Halewood.
