A special Christmas concert is coming to Halewood as part of Knowsley’s final celebrations in its year as Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture, and tickets are available now.
Knowsley Council in collaboration with Halewood Town Council bring you ‘The Little Lights of Christmas’ a musical extravaganza for the whole family to enjoy which takes place at Halewood Academy on Wednesday 14 December, from 7-9pm.
Latin American arts and cultural organisation LUMA Creations will be leading the event with world music to get the audience into the festive spirit. https://lumacreations.org/
There will be performances by Halewood primary school pupils who will be taking on some Christmas classics, old and new to get the audience into the Christmas spirit.
Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods said “We are delighted to bring a Christmas concert back to Halewood this year. It’s always been a highlight of the festive season and has been sadly missed in recent years due to Covid. Historically we worked with the Manchester Camerata but we are so excited to have Luma Creations on board this year giving a whole new flavour to the much-loved event.”
Tickets are £5.00 and can be obtained through participating school offices or via the Town Council’s main office at the Arncliffe Centre.
