Shakespeare North Playhouse has announced its brand-new Shakespeare’s Supper Club, a series of unique dining experiences.
Launching this month, the themed evenings will offer a unique culinary experience within the stunning setting of the award-winning theatre.
Shakespeare’s Supper Club – “The Elizabethan One” Saturday, 22 May.
Hosted in the Exhibition Gallery, guests will indulge in a refined tasting menu that draws inspiration from the rich flavours of the Tudor period. Expect a creative and modern interpretation of traditional ingredients, with delicacies such as oysters and venison.
Dinner by Candlelight on the Cockpit Stage, Saturday, 2 August. Limited to just twelve guests, this exclusive experience offers a unique opportunity to dine by candlelight on the Playhouse’s captivating Cockpit Stage. The price includes half a bottle of wine per person, promising an enchanting and personal evening.
Shakespeare’s Supper Club – “From Field to Fork”, Friday, 26 September.
This tasting menu is rooted in sustainability and locality. Guests will enjoy the freshest seasonal produce sourced from nearby farms and growers, highlighting the journey of each ingredient from the field to your plate.
