In 1971, when the Huyton Boys team secured victory in the English Schools Under 15 F.A. Cup, Huyton Council organised a Civic Reception.
During this event, each team member received a shield from the council to honour their accomplishment. This shield belongs to my brother Peter, but the hand depicted in the casting is mine, representing a moment of appropriated recognition.
