Event Details

Take a walk around the Cherryfield Drive and St. Chad’s Church area of Kirkby and explore the changing histories of the area, past through to present.

Joined by creative professionals Sue Comer and Gill Cowley you are invited to write or draw as you explore, sharing your hopes for the future of these spaces. This is not compulsory, but we do ask you to share your knowledge of the locations and any stories you may have.

There will be opportunities for you to dictate any thoughts or memories you want to share. We may not physically cover entire areas, but we will discuss any connecting spaces, buildings or events that are important to you.

Bring a sketchpad and/or notepad and drawing and/or writing implements, wear comfortable footwear and clothing suitable for the weather, and pack a bottle of water. Participants will be provided with a free cup of tea or coffee at the end of the session.
