From Tuesday 10 May – Saturday 16 July, Kirkby Gallery will celebrate the work of four major artists who lived and worked in Liverpool from the 1960s and whose legacy still exists today. These four influential figures of the Merseyside art scene include Adrian Henri (1932 -2000), Sam Walsh (1934 – 1989), Maurice Cockrill (1936 -2013) and John Baum (1942 – ). The exhibition celebrates the work and friendship of this group who put Merseyside on the cultural map and continue to inspire artists today.

Kirkby Gallery is open Monday to Friday: 10am – 5pm (last entry at 4.30pm), Saturdays 10am – 1pm (last entry at 12.30pm). You will find it on the first floor of The Kirkby Centre, Norwich Way, Kirkby, Knowsley, L32 8XY.
