JOHN POWER (CAST)

Singer, songwriter and guitarist, John Power is front man of 90s Indie rock band Cast, and was the bassist and backing vocalist for The La's from 1986 to 1991. In 2001 John Power embarked on a solo career that continues today.

IAN PROWSE & AMSTERDAM

Local Merseyside legend Ian Prowse has fronted two well-known bands, Pele & Amsterdam, racking up a roster of well know fans along the way including Elvis Costello, John Peel, Christy Moore, Bill Drummond & Jean Jaques Burnel.

Peel openly cried on air every time he played Ian's classic Does This Train Stop on Merseyside on BBC Radio 1 and & Elvis Costello has taken him as special guest on two UK tours. It's live where Ian really hits home, often tagged 'The Scouse Springsteen' by the press. Ten albums in now, with no sign of stopping.

ZUZU

Liverpool born Zuzu, is an acclaimed singer-songwriter. Zuzu’s debut album Queensway Tunnel, released on Zuzu’s own Planet Z Records, draws its power from themes of change, addiction, sci-fi, escapism, identity, community, and the protection of mental health. Sincere, intimate and raw, Zuzu catalogues what she describes as a ‘deep emotional unrest’ by sorting and filing her feelings through her music; defragging a cluttered and chaotic headspace to figure out what it means to navigate life as a twenty-something.
